Every background in the season came out of this one sketch — a grid of open nested squares whose size and depth are resolved by Perlin noise. Nothing is drawn by hand. Move a parameter and the whole field re-composes.

These are the real parameter names from the sketch. Opening Night, Mahler Symphony, Dramatic Cascade and Bold Flow are the four states saved in the file; Wine Weave is a starting point that shows the system at full density.
